TYT Lawat Kampung Dato Kuala Lawas

Kuala LAWAS [13 Mei 2011]: Yang di-Pertuan Negeri Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Muhammad Salahuddin and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Norkiah dropped by to see Haji Ali bin Ali Hasan at his residence when they visited Kampung Dato Kuala Lawas yesterday.

Ali is the eldest brother of Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, who Second Minister o f Pl anning and Re s our c e Management.

Their Excellencies’ visit to the village was a historic event for the both the village and the residents.

Their Excellencies, who were accompanied by Awang Tengah and his wife Dato Hajah Dayang Morliah, had lunch with the villagers before they adjourned to Ali’s residence.

His Excellency also joined Muslims in the village to perform Friday prayers at Dato Pengiran Haji Matussin Mosque, Kuala Lawas, the committee of which is headed by Awang Damit Ali Hasan.

Ali was honoured to have such distinguished guests at his residence.

Also present were Assistant Minister of Water Supply Sylvester Entri Muran, Assitant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department Haji Naroden Majais, Member of Parliament for Lawas Dato Henry Sum Agong and Bukit Kota Assemblyman Dr.Abdul Rahman Ismail.
