LAWAS: Second Mi n i s t e r of Planning and Resource Management Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hassan hosted a luncheon for the judges of the statelevel Tilawah Al-Quran at Mutiara Restaurant here yesterday.

He expressed his sincere thanks to the judges, especially Chief Judge Datuk Haji Nahrawi Haji Abdul Rahman, for their support and cooperation towards the state-level Quran Reading Competition.

The two-day compeition which was held at Hotel Seri Malaysia from 9-10 May was officiated by the Minister while Head of State Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Muhammad Salahuddin and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Norkiah were at Dataran Bandar Lawas yesterday for the closing ceremony.
