Head of State, wife visit Awang Tengah’s Hari Raya open house

LAWAS: Head of State Tun Datuk Patinggi Mohammad Sallahudin and his wife Toh Puan Norkiah paid a Hari Raya visit to Second Minister of Planning and Resource Management Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and his wife Datuk Dayang Morliah Awang Daud at their residence in Lawas yesterday.

Some 500 people turned up to welcome them and their entourage, which included Assistant Minister of Planning and Resource Management Mohd Naroden Majais.

Among those present were Lawas MP Datuk Henry Sum Agong and his Limbang counterpart Hasbi Habibolah, state assemblymen Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail ( Bukit Kota), Paulus Palu Gumbang (Batu Danau), Ripin Lamat (Bekenu), and Lawas district officer Mohd Supaih Hamdan.

Later, at a Hari Raya open house hosted by the Head of state and his wife at Hotel Seri Malaysia, about 1,000 turned up for the colourful gathering which, among others, featured songs and cultural performances.
