Do you know Mr X?
LAWAS: A stroke patient who has been in the Lawas Hospital for the past five months is getting weaker and the hospital authority is trying to contact his family members or next of kin.
The patient, identified only as Mr. X, has no identification document. He speaks English, Tagalog and a bit of Malay.
Earlier, Mr.X said he came from Marudi, but he also mentioned several places and the hospital authority is unable to determine his place of origin or locate his family or next of kin.
He is still being treated at the hospital and is friendly towards the staff.
Meanwhile, members of the public who know the patient are advised to contact his family or next of kin for them to come forward and identify him.
