Board to facilitate taxpayers in Lawas

I nland Revenue Board (IRB) here will be setting up e-Filing counters in Lawas from April 19 to 22 in connection with the national Tax Payers Service Month (BPPC) 2010.

According to the assistant director of the IRB here, Azami @ Azmi Mohd Amin, a customer service counter will be set up at two different locations in the district.

The first location is the lobby of Shangshan Hotel where a counter will be set up on April 19 from 2pm to 5pm and on April 22 from 8am to 5pm.

The second venue is the Lawas Chinese Chamber building where a counter will be set up on April 20 from 8am to 11 am.

Taxpayers are invited to visit the booth and they should bring along the relevant documents for the processing of their tax and the filling up of e-Filing tax forms.

The closing date for submission of tax forms for individual with income sources other than ‘business’ is April 30 while those with income from business have until June 30 to submit their income tax return.
