Awang Tengah briefed on loans by govt agencies

KUCHING: Minister of Industrial Development Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan and his two assistants Datuk Peter Nansian and Julaihi Narawi were briefed by federal agencies including the office of Internal Trade, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs, Matrade Sarawak, SME Corp, MIDF, SME Bank, Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) Sarawak, Tekun Sarawak and EXIM Bank Malaysia Bhd.

The briefing held at Awang Tengah’s office was aimed at providing information on grants and loans these agencies provide for the small and medium entrepreneurs in the state.

Also present at the briefing were Assistant Minister of Bumiputera Entrepreneur Development Datuk Haji Naroden Majais, permanent secretary of Industrial Development Datu Liaw Soon Eng and other top government officials.
