Pasukan Putera Kuala Lawas Megah di Brunei


Pasukan Putera Kuala Lawas A was declared the champion of the Open 30-rower Traditional Longboat Marathon with their team mate Putera Kuala Lawas B in second place. Meanwhile, Pasukan Punang Gemilang won third place with Gamta in fourth place and Sungai Bunga Police as well as Neighbourhood Watch in fifth place. 
Sundar Sinampuan B were the champions of the Open 25-rower Traditional Longboat Category, with Awat-Awat A in second place and Putera Kuala Lawas A in third place and Ministry of Defence in fourth place.

Loud cheers were heard in the capital during the Regatta Brunei Darussalam 2012 held at the Brunei River yesterday. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office consented to present prizes to the winners.

During the morning event, Remz Gym Brunei Darussalam came in first place in the Locals 15-rower Traditional Longboat Category while Gamta A won second place and Royal Brunei Police Force came in third place.

Meanwhile, for the 30HP Speedboat Category, the Eagle Speed manoeuvred by Cyrill Ho won first place while JSM (Mulin) came in second place and Mega 90 driven by Latif Ladi won third place.

Abd Hamid Idris was the champion of the 30HP Water Taxi Category with Md Hidayat Hj Salleh finished second and Suhaili Hj Besar third.

For the Open 15-rower Traditional Longboat, Gamta A emerged as champions with the Royal Brunei Police Force in second place and Sundar Sinampuan B in third place.

Meanwhile, for the 720cc Jet Ski Category, Christopher won first place with Najib Nasaruddin trailing in second place and Hj Shahadan bin Abdul in third place.

For the 40HP Water Taxi Category, Honda took first place and Legar Line from Limbang won second place and third place went to Prince Rolex.

In the Local 30-rower Traditional Longboat Category, Kampung Sungai Bunga Visionary Youth was the champion with Raja Helang in second place and Gamta in third place.

In the exciting F1 Powerboat Category, the 2 Hak (Tutong) piloted by Anuar Saidin from Terengganu claimed first place with Hooter (KB) piloted by Maarof Mahari in second place and Catamaran (KB) piloted by Nawee Ura in third place.

In the 18HP Jet Ski Category, 212 Burak won first place while Jubang anak Aloi took second place and Asian Racing Team came third.

The Ministry of Development was the champion in the Inter Ministry 15-rower Fibre Glass Longboat Category with the Ministry of Health in second place while the third place went to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

For the Local 60HP Water Taxi Category, Boneka piloted by Hj Md Khudzairi Hj Marriji was declared the champion while second place went to Burak 212 piloted by Md Nabil Hj Zaini and Ferrari 888 piloted by Pg Maidi Pg Hj Ahmad won third place.

In the 50HP Speedboat Category, Tiong Racing Team piloted by Mohammad Hj Morni took first place with the Aldin piloted by Nordin Hj Idris came in second place and Asian Racing Team piloted by Tiah Eng Beng won third place.

In the 60 HP SST Category, the Eighty Ninety piloted by Maarof Mahari won first place with second place claimed by the Jen 4 piloted by Jeremy Naweh while the Miratrisya piloted by Nordin Hj Mohammad won third place.

For the 85HP Water Taxi Category, Hj Md Khudzairi was the champion with second place going to Md Nabil Hj Zaini and Pg Maidi Pg Hj Ahmad in third place.

Sundar Sinampuan was the champion in the Open 25-rower Traditional Longboat Category. Awat-Awat won second place Putera Kuala Lawas winning third place.

Meanwhile, during the afternoon session, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik and His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel graced the event to witness the races with His Majesty consenting to present prizes to the winners of the tournament.

In the special event fibre glass longboat race, Brunei-Muara Penghulu Mukims and Heads of Village led by His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik won first place with His Majesty leading the organiser's team winning second place while the third place went to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince leading the permanent secretaries team and in fourth place was His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah leading the State Decorated (Pehins).

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister's Office emerged as champions in the Inter-Ministry 20-rower Fibre Glass Longboat Category with the Ministry of Defence in second place and the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Development both in fourth place.

Mahrof was declared the champion of the F1 Powerboat Category with Catamaran Naweh trailing in second place and Eighty Ninety in third place.

For the Above 60HP Water Taxi Category, Hj Zaini Hj Hamid took first place with Hj Yusof Hj Tuah in second place and Moslidi Hj Tapa from Limbang in third place.

Pasukan Lawas A was declared the champion of the Open 30-rower Traditional Longboat Marathon with their team mate Pasukan Lawas B in second place. Meanwhile, Pasukan Punang Gemilang won third place with Gamta in fourth place and Sungai Bunga Police as well as Neighbourhood Watch in fifth place.
