State’s Power tariff to remain –

The state’s electricity tariff will not be increased even though PM recently made an announcement that the electricity tariff would be standardised throughout the country. Awang Tengah also said that the state’s electricity tariff was relatively lower than other states. He added, on the average the combined domestic, commercial and industrial tariff was lower than TNB.

Even the water tariff has not been changed since 1992 although the cost of supplying water has increased throughout the years.
